Sales Representative

Experience required:

1-3 years of proven sales experience (Experience in the outdoor industry or fashion is an asset)

Key Duties:

  1. Develop sustainable and profitable sales with an assigned portfolio of customers.
  2. Deliver quantitative and qualitative sales results that are in accordance with the brands strategy and targets.
  3. Responsible for building and executing Go To Market strategies across all product categories in both the outdoor and lifestyle channel.
  4. Conduct seasonal product presentations that are tailored to the accounts needs while supporting brand objectives.
  5. Obtain and analyze regular sell-through data to facilitate reorder business, market trends, etc.
  6. Manage current and future order book effectively, deliver orders on time/in full to accounts, meet all internal deadlines.
  7. Visit assigned customers to carryout staff training sessions and ensure product is receiving a premium presentation in-store.
  8. Responsible for the receiving and management of all product samples.
  9. Ensure the showroom is organized and prepared for all sales presentations to support the broader sales team.
  10. Accounts and responsibilities can evolve as the marketplace changes.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – comfortable presenting in group settings and capable of building long-term relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think pro-actively, take initiative, and make strategic decisions.
  • Willingness to learn about new products and technical features.
  • Understanding of merchandising, trends and sales an asset.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office.
